Dear SSJ Catholic Community,
Each weekend as I attend Mass, I’m struck by the thought that millions of Catholics around the world are gathered in prayer at the same time. This is mesmerizing to me, because all of us, as members of the Church, are listening to the same Word of God and receiving the Body and Blood of Jesus Christ.
As Saints Simon & Jude Catholic School continues the school year following Catholic Schools Week, we are reminded that we are part of something much bigger. We continue the mission of Catholic education alongside more than 200,000 Catholic schools around the world. Each of these schools is rooted in the teachings of Jesus Christ and is committed to leading students on a path toward heaven.
At SSJ, we live out our mission of Faith, Knowledge, and Service in all that we do. From our weekly school Masses, to service projects supporting local homeless individuals and hospital patients, to our preparations for the upcoming Stations of the Cross, we remain deeply committed to growing in our Catholic faith.
As the Gospel reminds us, “Whoever obeys and teaches these commandments will be called greatest in the kingdom of heaven.” The faculty and staff at Saints Simon & Jude Catholic School strive each day to form every student in the image of Jesus Christ. These efforts help guide our students on their path to heaven and empower them to share the Word of God through their actions and example.
We warmly welcome new families to visit our campus and experience firsthand the vibrant, faith-filled environment for students in grades TK-8th. Tours can be scheduled by contacting our school office at (714) 962-4451. We look forward to sharing how SSJ can become part of your family’s educational journey. Together, we celebrate the joy of learning, the love of Christ, and the power of community at SSJ. “God is good, all the time. All the time, God is good.”
Enrollment is now open for the 2026-2027 school year!
Sincerely,
Mr. Minter
Principal
