Be a Part of Something Greater!

At Saints Simon and Jude, we are dedicated to worshipping together as a parish family. Our faith community is deeply grateful for the volunteers who enrich our worship and share the love of Christ with others.

Through baptism, we are called to serve—not just as an obligation, but as an opportunity to grow in faith, build friendships, and experience the joy of giving back to God. Now is the time to say ‘yes’ to the call!

Altar Servers

Step forward and serve at the altar, assisting the priest and helping lead the congregation into a more prayerful and focused liturgy. If you are baptized and have received First Holy Communion, this is your chance to serve with reverence and devotion.

Liturgical Art & Environment

Have an eye for beauty? This ministry transforms our worship space to reflect the sacred seasons, helping every parishioner enter into a deeper encounter with God.

Extraordinary Ministers of Holy Communion

Share the Body and Blood of Christ with fellow parishioners and the homebound. This sacred ministry calls for deep faith, understanding of the Eucharist and a welcoming heart as you bring Christ to others.

Lectors

Proclaim the Word of God with power and conviction! Lectors help bring Scripture to life, opening hearts and minds to God’s message through their prayerful and inspiring delivery.

Lord’s Linens

Care for the sacred linens that hold the Body and Blood of Christ, honoring their significance with reverence. Training is provided for this behind-the-scenes yet deeply meaningful ministry.

Sacristans

Prepare the altar, sacred vessels, and everything needed for Mass. Sacristans play a crucial role in ensuring a smooth and reverent liturgy.

Ushers & Greeters

Be the first friendly face someone sees at Mass! Help create a warm, welcoming experience by greeting parishioners, assisting with seating, collecting the offertory, and guiding the congregation during Communion.
