Pastoral Message:

January 18, 2026

Dear SSJ Catholic Community,

My mom taught 1st grade for many years, and it was our family tradition every summer to take down her classroom in June and put everything back up in August. One thing never changed: the bulletin board with a simple yet profound message, “Let the Children Come to Me” (Matthew 19:14). This message comes to mind as we near the halfway point of the school year and see our students’ smiling faces. Throughout the school year, these smiles remind us of what is most important: nurturing the growth, joy, and faith of every child.

At Saints Simon & Jude Catholic School, our mission is to provide a Christ-centered, academically excellent, and faith-filled environment where every child is inspired to grow spiritually, intellectually, and socially. In the spirit of Mother Teresa, who said, “How can there be too many children? That is like saying there are too many flowers,” we, the SSJ Administration, Faculty, Staff, and families, open our hearts, our classrooms, and our community to welcome every child into the SSJ family.

As registration for the 2026–2027 school year approaches, we thank our current families for entrusting us as your school of choice. Your continued support and commitment are the driving force behind all we do. We also welcome new families to come and visit our campus and see firsthand the vibrant, faith-filled environment we offer for children and grandchildren. Tours can be scheduled by contacting our school office (714-962-4451), and we welcome all who wish to explore how SSJ can become part of their family’s educational journey.

Together, we celebrate the joy of learning, the love of Christ, and the power of community at SSJ. “God is good, all the time. All the time, God is good.”

Sincerely,

Mr. Minter

Principal
