Hey y’all,

I hope you are enjoying the blessings of the Easter season. I wanted to share a quick update and a heartfelt invitation.

Thanks to the generosity of so many in our parish family, we have already received $142,473 toward our Parish Services Appeal goal of $234,000. That’s something to be truly grateful for. Still, we’ve got a bit of road ahead of us, and I’m asking you to prayerfully consider helping us get there.

As you may know, contributions to the PSA support the vital ministries of our Diocese of Orange, including Catholic Education, Catholic Charities, seminarian formation, vocations, the permanent diaconate, priest retirement, and more. These are the quiet, steady works of the Church that bear fruit in countless lives. It’s also worth noting that 95% of every dollar given goes directly to these ministries, with only 5% used for administrative and fundraising needs.

Now here’s the part that’s especially close to my heart. Any amount we raise above our goal comes right back home to Saints Simon and Jude. This year, those funds will go toward Evangelization and Outreach, helping us welcome new faces, bring back those who have drifted away, and strengthen our parish family. We even hope to bring on a dedicated staff member to lead this effort, so that sharing the Good News remains front and center in all we do.

Y’all, this is how we grow the Kingdom, together in faith, hope, love, and generosity.
