Children & Youth Are Cherished at Saints Simon & Jude!
At Saints Simon & Jude, we joyfully celebrate children and youth as the present and future of the Catholic Church and the world. We are committed to forming young disciples from an early age, embracing them as a vital part of our parish family. Whether infants, toddlers, children, tweens and teens we love seeing them at Mass and engaged in parish life!

FAMILY MINISTRY & FAITH FORMATION
We are here to support parents in every aspect of their family’s faith journey. A child’s first experience of God’s love, provision, and forgiveness begins at home, where faith is nurtured through family life.
Modeled after the Holy Family, Catholic families are called to be the Church in the world—evangelizing through daily life and fostering faith in their homes. Our Faith Formation programs help both parents and children encounter Christ, develop a personal relationship with Him, and build a lifelong connection with the Church and parish community.
Family Mass
Worship, Connect, and Grow Together!
Join us for Family Mass once a month, where families come together to celebrate the Eucharist in a joyful, welcoming, and engaging way! This special liturgy features youth participation, uplifting music, and a message that speaks to both children and adults.
After Mass, stay for family activities and a delicious breakfast, providing a wonderful opportunity for fellowship, connection, and growing in faith as a parish family.

CLOW/ Tot Liturgy
2 Years Old – 5th Grade
At Saints Simon & Jude, we love welcoming children into a deeper understanding of the Mass and God’s Word in a way that is engaging and age-appropriate!
Before the Scripture readings, children in 1st – 5th grade are invited to come forward and will be sent to the Franciscan Room for a special Gospel lesson. They will return to their families after the Creed, just in time for the Offertory and Liturgy of the Eucharist.
Tot Liturgy is at the same time as CLOW, little ones ages 2-5 will have their own faith-filled experience tailored just for them!
Every Sunday | 9:30 AM Mass
No registration needed! Simply come to Mass as a family, and all children are welcome to participate. We look forward to sharing the joy of the Gospel with your children each Sunday!
Little Saints
Ages 0-3
Little Saints is a special faith-filled Experience for our littlest disciples! Little Saints is a class designed for newborns through 3 years old, where parents actively engage with their children in a developmentally appropriate, faith-filled learning experience.
This is a wonderful opportunity to introduce little ones to faith, build community with other young Catholic families, and begin a beautiful foundation of love for Christ and His Church.
We are currently taking a break for the summer but can’t wait to journey in faith with you and your Little Saints in the fall!

Elementary Faith Formation
Preschool – 5th Grade
The purpose of Faith Formation is to help children grow in the love of Christ and deepen their understanding of the Catholic faith in a nurturing and supportive environment. Through developing a personal relationship with Jesus, learning about the sacraments, and exploring Scripture, children are formed into lifelong disciples of Christ.
Faith Formation Sessions
- Led by faith-filled Catechists and organized by grade level (Preschool – 5th grade)
- Schedule Options: (October – May (13 in-person classes + 12 at-home lessons)
- Wednesdays | 4:00 PM – 5:00 PM
- Sundays | 10:30 AM – 11:30 AM
Our at-home lessons are a vital part of your child’s faith journey. Faith begins at home, and children learn best by seeing their parents prioritize and model their faith. Families are provided with easy-to-follow resources, including readings, activities, and videos, to help make faith formation a meaningful experience.

Sacramental Preparation
During their second year of Faith Formation, baptized children who are ready can begin preparation for the Sacraments of First Reconciliation and First Holy Eucharist. This journey includes:
- 5 Parent-Child Workshops
- In-home sessions focused on the graces of these sacraments
Through this process, parents and children fall in love with the sacraments, strengthening their relationship with Christ and the Church. We look forward to walking with your family on this beautiful journey of faith!
