High School Faith Formation
SSJ Youth Ministry – Faith, Fellowship, and Fun! SSJ Youth Ministry is a welcoming place where high school students can find belonging, faith, and fellowship while growing in a deeper relationship with Jesus Christ. Our goal is to create an inclusive and vibrant community, offering opportunities to encounter God and serve our parish family. Through faith-filled gatherings, meaningful discussions, and fun social events, we strive to cultivate the next generation of compassionate and active Catholic leaders.
WEEKLY BIBLE STUDY
Every Wednesday | 7:00 PM – 9:00 PM | Youth Room
Take a midweek pause and join us for Bible Study! This is the perfect opportunity to reflect on God’s Word, share in faith-filled discussions, and grow alongside friends in a safe and welcoming space. Whether you’re in Confirmation Prep, Peer Ministry, or just looking for community, all high school students are welcome!
SOCIAL NIGHTS
Monthly Gatherings – On & Off-Site Events
Once a month, we come together for a high school social night—an evening of fun, food, and fellowship! Whether it’s dinner & games at the church, a beach bonfire, bowling, or a movie night, it’s a great way to connect and build friendships. Friends are welcome too—bring them along!
THE SACRAMENT OF CONFIRMATION
The journey to Confirmation is a two-year preparation program open to 9th-11th graders. It includes bi-monthly classes, retreats, service opportunities, and special events designed to help candidates grow in faith and embrace their role in the Church. PEER MINISTRY
SSJ Youth Peer Ministry – Live Your Faith, Lead with Love
SSJ Youth Peer Ministry is a team of high school students committed to living out their Confirmation, sharing the Good News, serving their parish community, and growing deeper in faith.
If you are a Junior or Senior in High School who has received the Sacrament of Confirmation, we invite you to be part of this incredible ministry! Our Peer Ministry team meets every 4-6 weeks on Monday nights for faith-filled discussions, leadership growth, and event planning for SSJ Youth. We also encourage members to get involved in our Faith Formation ministries, helping to guide and inspire younger students in their faith journey.
