PARISH RETREAT
Saturday, November 23rd 9:00am – 5:00pm at the Mary & Joseph Retreat Center in Palos Verdes
Join Fr. Jim Clark, author and spiritual director, for a day of retreat at the Mary & Joseph Retreat Center. Bus transportation is provided. Cost for the day is $75. All parishioners are welcome to attend! See below for more information and registration.
“Growing in the Life of the Spirit” – Like all things, renewal and growth in the life of the Spirit necessitates the use and practice of the right tools. This retreat will offer a list of such tools as we cover the following sub themes of a spirituality of gratitude, second half of life issues, and a theology of detachment. Please bring a few pictures of your loved ones.
SSJ retreats meet parishioners where they are in their faith journey by providing multiple opportunities to grow in faith each year. Experienced Retreat Leaders share different dimensions of Catholic spirituality through talks, the Sacraments, small groups, and/or individual activities. Retreats are held off site at popular Retreat Centers allowing parishioners to enjoy social time (or alone time), meals, and a change of pace and scenery in fellowship with their parish family.
