Coming to SSJ – Tour of the Relics of St. Jude The Apostle
Wednesday, May 1, from 2:00 p.m. until 10:00 p.m. You are invited to this rare opportunity to venerate a relic of St. Jude.
Relic Tour Information:
Veneration: 2:00 p.m. until 6:30 p.m. The line will temporarily stop at 6:30 p.m. to prepare for Mass.
Special Mass: 7:00 p.m. – Presider Fr. Carlos Martin
Veneration resumes: After Mass (approximately 8:15 to 8:30) until 10:00 p.m.
- First come first serve basis for getting in line.
- Pictures – The person venerating cannot take a photo of the relic, people are allowed to stand at the side after veneration and take a photo of the person who is venerating the relic.
- Each person will have 8 to 10 seconds in front of the Relic to venerate.
- Our goal is to keep the line moving.
- You are encouraged to sit in the pews to pray after veneration.
- In the gathering area we will have two souvenirs and resource tables to purchase items.
- The doors will open for Mass between 6:30 and 6:45 p.m. (After we have cleared the veneration line)
- We will ask everyone to exit the church before the evening Veneration will begin again.
