DESCRIPTION:Join us for an unforgettable week of faith\, fun\, and friendship at Saints Simon & Jude’s Vacation Bible School (VBS)! This is a parish-wide event where all ages come together to serve\, learn\, and celebrate the Gospel and Jesus!  \n\n\n\n\nDates: Monday\, July 13 – Friday\, July 17\n\n\n\nTime: 9:00 AM – 12:00 PM \n\n\n\nLocation: Saints Simon & Jude Parish \n\n\n\n\nYou don’t need to be a parishioner to join—so invite a friend and share the VBS fun!  \n\n\n\nDONATE TO VBS\n\n\n\nCan’t help as a volunteer for VBS? No problem… you can still contribute in a huge way by supporting through snack donations. Sign Up Here to bring a snack!  \n\n\n\nWho Can Participate?  \n\n\n\n\nChildren (Preschool – 5th Grade) Open to kids entering Preschool (3 years & potty trained) through 5th grade in the fall.  Experience all the fun activities VBS has to offer! \n\n\n\n\n \n\n\n\n\nMiddle School & High School Volunteers Serve as role models\, leading small groups and assisting Adult Leaders at activity stations. \n\n\n\n\n \n\n\n\n\nAdult Volunteers Needed! Help make this incredible week possible by leading a VBS station! SUMMARY:Baptism Prep Class
DESCRIPTION:Baptism is the formal way in which we welcome families and infants (ages 0-6) into our Catholic-Christian community. It marks the beginning of a sacramental faith journey for the child and is an important celebration for the family. For both parents and Godparents\, preparing for Baptism is an opportunity to renew and deepen their own faith journey. It is also a special moment for our parish community to welcome new members into the life of the Church.  \n\n\n\nFirst Steps to Baptism \n\n\n\n\nContact the Coordinator of OCIA/BaptismReach out to Denise Quackenbush at dquackenbush@ssj.org to schedule a brief consultation to begin the registration process. \n\n\n\nComplete the Registration Form Fill out the Baptism Registration Form and return it to the Parish Office along with your child’s Birth Certificate. If you are not already a registered family at Saints Simon & Jude\, please complete the Parish Registration Form as well. \n\n\n\nRegister for a Baptism Preparation Class Both parents and Godparents are required to participate in the Baptism Preparation Class.\n\n\n\n\nWe look forward to celebrating this sacred moment with your family and welcoming your child into the Catholic faith!

It’s a great opportunity to meet fellow parishioners\, share in faith-filled discussions\, and get involved in parish life.
