DESCRIPTION:Continuing our parish tradition\, the Saints Simon and Jude Outreach Ministry will host a weekly donation drive throughout Lent. Your almsgiving supports local charitable organizations by providing the essential supplies they need to continue their mission and care for our neighbors in need. \n\n\n\nCollections will take place before and after every weekend Mass. If you feel called to make a monetary donation\, please CLICK HERE. Thank you for your generosity! \n\n\n\nFifth Sunday of Lent: March 21-22 \n\n\n\nOrange County Children and Family Services (CFS): Strengthens and stabilizes families to ensure children are safe from abuse or neglect and placed in permanent\, nurturing homes. We’re “adopting” foster children for Easter by filling gift bags with new\, age-appropriate goodies to help them feel loved\, remembered\, and celebrated. \n\n\n\n4 Years Old & Under: Sippy cups\, small balls\, coloring books\, Pop Its (fidget toys)\, socks\, bubbles or sidewalk chalk\, Play-Doh\, board books\, small stuffed animals\, juice boxes or Goldfish crackers\, and minimal Easter candy. \n\n\n\n5 to 12 Years Old: Coloring books with crayons\, colored pencils or markers\, gel pens\, stickers or sticker books\, bubbles or sidewalk chalk\, Play-Doh\, Hot Wheels or Legos\, small stuffed animals\, hair ties\, hair clips or scrunchies\, gift cards to Baskin-Robbins or Yogurtland\, individual-size snacks\, and minimal Easter candy. \n\n\n\n13 Years and Older: Black hair ties\, combs or brushes\, nail polish or fragrances\, journals with pens\, body wash or lotions\, bracelets (for boys and girls)\, fun socks (for boys and girls)\, small stuffed animals\, individual-sized snacks\, earbuds\, minimal Easter candy\, and $15 gift cards to places such as Starbucks\, In-N-Out\, Raising Cane’s\, or Chipotle. \n\n\n\nAs we reflect on our Lenten call to Return to the Father\, we remember that every child deserves a home that mirrors His love and protection. We’re supporting our neighbors in need by donating essential food items to help sustain them with dignity and care. \n\n\n\n\nPinto Beans (4lb bags)\n\n\n\nWhite Rice (5lb bags)\n\n\n\nPeanut Butter (48 oz)\n\n\n\nJam (any size\, strawberry preferred)\n\n\n\nCanned Tuna (any size)\n\n\n\nMayonnaise (30 oz size)\n\n\n\nCardboard Canisters of Quaker Oats\n\n\n\nBoxes of Macaroni & Cheese\n\n\n\n\nAs we journey through Lent and hear the call to Return to the Father\, we are reminded that coming home to His mercy must change the way we live. Scripture teaches that faith without action is dead. DESCRIPTION:Youth Nights are a fantastic way to build a Catholic community\, offering middle school kids a unique opportunity to grow in their faith while having fun and building lasting friendships. These events foster a sense of belonging and encourage personal and spiritual growth during a crucial stage of their development.  \n\n\n\nYouth Nights are held approximately every third Friday of the month from 7:00 to 8:30 PM. DESCRIPTION:In preparation for the 50th Anniversary of the Diocese of Orange\, the Diocese will gather clergy\, ministry leaders\, and parish representatives for a special Leaders’ Convocation on Saturday\, March 28\, 2026. This important event is intended to unite the diocesan community in prayer\, reflection\, and shared vision as it marks this significant milestone in its history. \n\n\n\nTo allow full participation in this convocation\, all regularly scheduled Saturday Vigil Masses throughout the Diocese will be canceled on March 28\, 2026. Parishioners are encouraged to plan accordingly. \n\n\n\nAll parishes will resume their normal Mass schedules on Palm Sunday\, March 29\, 2026\, as the Church begins the solemn celebration of Holy Week. \n\n\n\nThank you for your understanding and cooperation. Please keep our diocesan leaders in your prayers.
