Sr. Edith will reflect on God’s boundless love and the abundance of blessings He pours out on His community of faith. She will share how God’s love enables us to go forward with vision and courage. As co-workers in His vineyard, we empower and help shape our world into a place of justice and peace for all.
Sister Edith Prendergast is currently the Director of Religious Education of the Archdiocese of Los Angeles and directs the Annual Religious Education Congress in Anaheim, California. She holds a Doctorate in Ministry from Claremont School of Theology and a Master’s Degree in Theology from Boston College. Sister Edith is a frequent keynote speaker and workshop presenter at National and local conferences and has written and contributed to several articles on Spirituality, Catechesis and Adult Faith Formation. Her most recent publication, Grace Abounds: A Call to Renew and Awaken your Faith (Ave Maria Press, 2011) gathers several of her keynote presentations delivered at Religious Education Congress over the past twenty years.
