Sts. Simon & Jude Youth Ministry provides a place where, a Christian teen can simply "be." The youth can spend time with their peers through building friendships and growing in their Catholic faith.

Sts. Simon & Jude Youth Ministry strives to teach the Catholic faith, nuture spirituality and promoted service to others.
Three Main Goals of Youth Ministry
- Foster the spiritual growth in the sacramental life of the Church
(development of Catholic identity and understanding of the Eucharist). - Draw responsibile participation in the life of our parish community
(actively participate in the life of the Church). - Empowerment to become healthy, competent and caring disciples of Christ
(building on the Christian values of following Christ and serving others).
Youth Ministry News
Confirmation Year 1 Registration
Parent/guardian(s) need to attend one of the two Inquiry Sessions offered on Sunday, September 12, at 4:00 p.m. in the Adult Center or on Sunday, September 19, after the 5:00 p.m. Mass in the Adult Center. Registration forms for Confirmation are only available at the Inquiry Sessions and must be returned no later than September 24, 2010. Registration forms will not be accepted after this date.
Confirmation Year 2 Registration
All youth continuing in the Year 2 Confirmation process will need to register by September 24, 2010. Forms can be obtained from the Catechetical or parish offices. Registration forms will not be accepted after this date.
High School Faith Sharing
Youth attending a non-Catholic high school are required to register for the Faith Sharing program no later than September 24, 2010. Attendance for youth going to a Catholic high school in fall 2010 is optional but strongly encouraged. High school Faith Sharing is a great opportunity for all youth to connect and share with peers in their parish community. Registration forms will not be accepted after September 24, 2010.
Volunteer Opportunity for Parish Festival
Youth Ministry is sponsoring the “Jingle Board” booth this year at our annual parish festival. WE NEED YOU! Youth, parents, siblings, and friends can sign up to work in this fun and fast paced booth.
