All of the students in Kindergarten through 8th grades will begin the Family Life program that is part of the diocesan religion curriculum. Catholic doctrines and values will be presented to students in a positive and appealing context. The five themes communicated at every grade level are family living, respect for life, personal growth and self-understanding, Catholic Christian sexuality, and social living. All of the lessons are designed to work closely in partnership with parents. Accordingly, the teachers may ask that some concepts be discussed at home in a nurturing family environment. If you have any questions regarding this curriculum please do not hesitate to contact your child’s teacher.
