October’s Christian Quality: LEADERSHIP

gem-october-2016“Work willingly at whatever you do, as though you were working for the Lord rather than for people.”
—Colossians 3:23

This month’s Christian quality is LEADERSHIP, which means showing a good example and guiding others. We can show leadership by “doing the right thing” whether or not anyone is watching us, and demonstrating integrity in our actions. Please talk with your children about what it means to be a leader.

You can show leadership by:

  • Doing what is asked of you in school, at home, and in your clubs and teams
  • Offering to help without being asked first
  • Playing by the rules
  • Inviting others to join your group
  • Working diligently in class to the best of your ability!
