Pastoral Plan 2008 - 2009

The Sts. Simon & Jude Pastoral Plan for the year beginning July 1, 2008 reflects new goal statements for the community and uses the five dimensions of the life of the church as the framework within which our collective vision is articulated.  In prayerful deliberation and discussion, representatives of the community joined parish leadership to consider these dimensions as they are reflected in our parish.  We identified the ways in which we individually and collectively lived out the dimensions of koinonia, leiturgia, didache, kerygma, and diakonia.

Stewardship Report 2007 - 2008

"And the Word became flesh and pitched his tent among us, and we saw his glory, the glory as of the Father's only Son, full of grace and truth."  John 1:14

As we report on pitching our tent with Jesus this past fiscal year, we are in the midst of the most serious economic crisis to befall this country and world since the great depression.  History call us to a deeper sense of community and a deeper relationship with the Word made flesh, God with us.  That call resounds behind the many actions that the parish has taken this last year.
