Our soup kitchen's motto is "A guest comes, Christ comes" sets the bar high for hospitality! Every Saturday a delicious meal is served to 700-900 homeless or needy men, women and children using the facilities of St. Joseph Church/School in Santa Ana. We also offer--free of charge--limited medical care, English classes, bags of groceries, clothing and hygiene items to the homeless, art and crafts for the children, backpacks and school supplies for students, and small college scholarships for a select few. This effort is made possible by an all-volunteer staff and private donations of food, money and other items.
If you would like to be part of our weekly "miracle of the loaves and fishes," please contact us or watch the SSJ bulletin for requests for needed items.
