The goal of WAFA is to invite all persons, whatever their social or cultural background, to discuss and apply the weekly scripture readings. To this end, the formation of small groups is coordinated through the Catechetical Board.
In the weeks prior to the beginning of Lent, parishioners are invited to form groups or register to join an existing group. The weekly scripture readings, with reflection questions and background information, are provided for each group throughout Lent. Support material is available for those groups that choose to meet year-round.
