The structure of the leadership within the parish is defined as a board, commission, council or task force. The definitions of these groups are provided below. Each of these groups also contains committee and subcommittees to support added requirements.
Definitions:
- Board: Group of persons under the direction of a member of the pastoral staff who plan, implement and evaluate their area of responsibility.
- Commission: Group of persons directed to perform some duty or prescribed acts
- Council: A group elected or appointed to give direction, advice or counsel to the pastor and community.
- Task Force: A temporary grouping under one leader for the purpose of accomplishing a definite objective.
