Celebration of the Anointing of the Sick within the Saturday, May 5, 5:00 P.M. Mass and the Sunday, May 6, 7:45 A.M. Mass.
The sacrament of Anointing of the Sick is offered to those preparing for surgery, the elderly, those suffering from chronic illness, and sick children as long as they “have sufficient use of reason to be strengthened by the sacrament.”
All those in need of the Sacrament of the Sick are invited to receive this sacrament which will take place within the liturgies of these Masses.
If you have a family member who is usually unable to attend church because of illness, but would like to be anointed and surrounded by the love of the community next weekend, we will have several places reserved for wheelchairs in the front of the church.
